Having just announced becoming a political party, Keep Sydney Open is celebrating its tilt at next year’s NSW election with, what else, a party on June 30.
Party Party will be held over six floors of the Kings Cross Hotel, a venue that has been affected by lockout laws and noise complaints. The venue also enjoys a 30-minute relaxation of the lockout laws, meaning they may let in patrons until 2am and serve until 3:30am.
Leading the festivities will be Roland Tings and Basenji, both performing DJ sets. Basenji is fresh off selling out his hometown Sydney headline show while Roland Tings, a recent resident in our city, is about to tour with The Presets.
Luen Jacobs will cover your late-night urge to shuffle, having just performed a run of shows around the country.
They will be joined by a troupe of supremely excellent local DJs and party crews to fill every nook and cranny of the building with ass-shaking noise.
